Hotel le Rive

This is a wonderful boutique hotel with a delightfully helpful and attentive staff and a wonderful restaurant (get reservations). The waterfront is beautiful, with convenient access to the CGN port for boat rides. It is a long walk from the train station (10 minutes), that is a steady and fairly steep downhill going to the hotel (obviously uphill getting back to the station). If you're a decent walker, I wouldn't consider this a show stopper if you've packed light, as the hotel is worth it. Otherwise, just plan ahead for a taxi or Uber. Breakfast was included and the rates are very attractive compared to other nearby cities (Geneva and Lausanne). Highly recommend. Great AC, great views with the sunrise, sunset, moon on the lake, great restaurant and overall service was top nothc.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, lovely clean and comfortable with the most amazing staff. We happened to find this hotel last minute due to my husband booking a hotel on the French boarder on the wrong date. The hotel we booked was extremely unhelp and so I needed to locate somewhere to stay fast. We had travelled from UK leeds area and so it was late close to 9pm. We found hotel le Rive in Nyon and was lucky enough to get a room Craig got our belongings up from car and we were so hungry Unfortunately by this time the kitchen was closing but the wonderful manager made us the most amazing burgers washed down with the best Rosè. Everything was perfect. We went off to bed had a comfortable sleep with stunning views across the lake. Waking up was bliss I could have stayed in that room and never left. Sat out on the balcony looking at the lake and mountains was the highlight of my holiday and it was all by chance. Breakfast was wondering we sat on the terrace looking across the lake watching the little birds sit at the tables hoping for crumbs. I also left a bag of medicines in my room which they posted to me just going above and beyond Will hopefully return one day soon so we can explore the area as we headed to Zermatt after Nyon and after discussing with the manager we found valuable information out which helped us on our travels. Stayed in a standard room and as expected, not very spacious but I was not dissapointed in this regard. Clean and well kept. Good choice of UK TV stations. Breakfast was a little sparce in available choices. Nice check in and check out experience with a helpful lady working at the reception. Didnt try the restaurant for lunch or dinner but is was extremely busy which isan obvious good sign. Good for a short stay business trip.

Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältniss. Direkt am Hafen,an Seepromenade. Keine eigenen PP, aber man findet in naher Umgebung immer was. Sehr freundlich. Saubere, grosszügige Zimmer inkl kaffeemaschine. Schöne Terasse. Sehr gerne wieder

Si la vue sur le lac, même au premier étage, est magnifique.. la chambre que nous avons eue pour une nuit n’était pas à la hauteur. il s’agissait d’une chambre PMR dans laquelle il n’y a ni douche ni baignoire à proprement parler, mais un « espace douche » où l’eau s’évacue assez mal et du coup ruisselle jusqu’à la moquette de la chambre… même si on fait attention.. du coup, la moquette reste humide sur une surface assez conséquente et c’est fort désagréable. Chambre à éviter donc.. sinon nous nous sommes régalés avec les filets de perche au restaurant !

Très beau séjour à l'Hôtel le Rive! Accueil très agréable, chambre confortable avec magnifique vue sur le Lac Léman et buffet de petit-déjeuner délicieux. Nous avons dîné à la Brasserie qui fait partie de l'établissement - un régal! Nous reviendrons lors de notre prochain passage à Nyon!
